BALSA WOOD:

Ochroma pyramidale, commonly known as the balsa tree (also O. lagopus), is a species of flowering plant in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is a large, fast-growing tree that can grow up to 30 m (100 ft) tall. Balsa wood is a very lightweight material with many uses in Aeromodelling and Architectural Model Making. Balsa trees are native to southern Brazil and Bolivia north to southern Mexico.

Balsa Wood is available in sheets, strips and circular rod form in all thickness and sizes.

Sheets are available in :

36", 40" and 48" in Length.

3" and 4" in Width.

1mm to 50mm in Thickness.
